I love dogs, and would never advocate shooting one as these ladies do….but I understand their attitude.
There is a kind of sad and pathetic glorification of our pets that is perverse in a world in which humans are dying for lack of food and shelter.
That a couple would take separate vacations to avoid leaving the dog alone is sad. If you love the dog THAT much, find a way to take it with you and have fun!
Anyway, having said all that I confess that I laughed out loud with these old lassies.
